An illustrated comic on self love

I have been born and raised in a family that has always uplifted me when I have been at my lowest, boosted me with confidence when I feel like I have run out of it and never, even for a split second, has made me question their unconditional love for me. I have had a very happy childhood and adulthood, thanks to them and the bold, bubbly and confident person I am today, is because of them.

In college at Pearl Academy, we were asked to pick something that we value the most, something that embodies us as people and try to reflect that in our project. I chose self love and attempted to illustrate a comic series that encapsulates my design style, creativity and love of writing poetry.
